We have strong values

OUR VALUES

Teamwork

We have a young team of the best builders and subcontractors in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty who are passionate about delivering their work to a high-end standard on all builds. Alex is your first point of contact when considering renovating or building new. He is on-site throughout the build, ensuring the standard is kept very high and costs are kept down.

Open Communication

For us, open communication is everything. We will keep you informed every step of the way, working alongside you to build your dream home as if it were our own. We believe in developing open, honest relationships with all our Tauranga-building clients, and we want you to feel confident in your decision to build with us.

Transparency

When building with us, you have full access to your projects during the building process. You will understand the project entirely as you watch it transform from a plan to reality. With this foresight, you can minimise the cost of any changes you request.

We work individually with our clients so there are no corners cut, and the preparation before the job goes to the site ensures a smooth, stress-free build. We run an open book policy, so the client knows the costs as the job develops. That way, there are no surprises, and the job always comes in on budget.

EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY

As Tauranga builders, we take pride in all our worksites and insist all our subcontractors clean up after themselves daily. Maintaining a clean site promotes better-quality artistry and automatically reduces the risk of injury.

We take pride in professionally conducting ourselves, on and off-site. Punctuality, presentation and manners have been significant contributing factors to our success. We will continue to uphold these qualities in each of our projects.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

At what stage do I need to involve a builder in my new build project?

Plus Icon

This can vary from person to person, and project to project.
Some clients are willing to come up with a plan and design on their own and some prefer to have the builder do all this for them. This can be a good idea especially with renovation work as if you do not have the vision and experience required it can actually lead to a lot of stress and put you in a negative frame of mind before anything is achieved.

Will I need building consent from the Council before we start?

Plus Icon

The majority of building and renovation work will require a consent, although there are certain types of “exempt” work that can be carried out without council consent if completed by a licensed building practitioner.

Do I need to use a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP)?

Plus Icon

Certain projects are classed as “restricted” - for these, you will need a LBP to complete the work. Work involving the building structure, weather tightness require a competent builder to complete. A record of work (ROW) can only be completed by a licensed builder and this paperwork gets lodged on the council files.

Do I need my builder to be a member of a building association?

Plus Icon

The answer is no, but it is highly recommended.By using a member of CBANZ (Certified Builders of New Zealand) you will be sure they are trade-qualified and have suitable references and are always up-skilling to keep on top of their trade.

Do you follow a documented process for your building projects?
